This is one of those houses that really only appears in dreams; an absolute gem in our portfolio. Although Cortijo de la Fuente has a maximum capacity of 12 people, it is also a dream spot for 2, a small group of friends or 1 family. You will want for nothing during your holiday.

Description of this insanely beautiful holiday home

The English owners of the house bought it as a ruin and transformed it into a small palace in four years’ time. With the rental they support local, small entrepreneurs; the Spanish lady who greets you at arrival and her team of cleaners, the gardener and the gentleman who keeps the pool clean. In addition, the holiday home is rented out exclusively through La Taha, with this house you have found a unique place to celebrate your holiday. Since the owners are also very eager to come to this beautiful place in Andalusia, it is only available for holidaymakers like you for a few weeks a year.

Layout of Cortijo de la Fuente

After you have parked your car you walk along the gravel path to the antique wooden front door, which leads to a small courtyard, the first doors on the right lead to two bedrooms with double beds. The first bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet. This room also has a large built-in wardrobe for your clothes.

The second bedroom with a double bed adjoins a bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink and toilet, which is shared with the third double room with 2 single beds. This bedroom is adjacent to the small courtyard with fountain and dining area.

Kitchen and living room

From the courtyard a door leads to the large kitchen with, among other things, a double sink, dishwasher, 5-burner gas stove and large fridge/freezer, there is also a small dining area in the kitchen. From the kitchen or from the courtyard you also reach the enormous living room, with high ceiling, large fireplace and several French doors to the house-wide terrace at the rear of the house.

On the terrace you will find a large marble dining table suitable for 12 people. On this floor there is another very spacious double room with large fitted wardrobes and a bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet. From the hall, the stone staircase leads to the master bedroom with a double bed, with private bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and free-standing bath.

The 6th bedroom is located at the side of the house and can only be reached from the outside. This room has a double bed and a very spacious, private bathroom with walk-in shower, sink, toilet and free-standing bath.

The swimming pool

The biggest eye-catcher of this house is located behind the house, the huge swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas all around, a very complete outdoor kitchen with two refrigerators and a sink. Several seating areas and a large day bed. For those who want to keep active, there is a ping pong table under the covered terrace. The view from this beautiful area is simply breathtaking.

Surroundings of exclusive holiday home Cortijo de la Fuente

Cortijo de la Fuente is located on top of a mountain on the border of 3 provinces; Malaga, Cordoba and Granada. This location makes this the ultimate base to visit the Royal Cities of all three provinces on a day trip; the capitals of these provinces can be reached in an hour to an hour and a half. In addition, the beautiful Lake Iznajar is only a 10-minute drive away. Nature Park La Subbetica can be reached in less than half an hour. That is if you want to leave your nice holiday home at all.

Remarks

• The unique location of this fantastic holiday home makes the drive there a small challenge, but this should not be a problem for an experienced driver.
• The owners ask for a € 300,- deposit, which you will be refunded if the holiday home is left in good order.
• The nearest airport is Malaga (AGP) at about 50 minutes drive.
• Pets are welcome, you don’t even have to pay anything extra for them!
