Casa Azzurah is beautifully situated within the old Moorish fortress, at the top of the village of Medina Sidonia. In front of the house is a beautiful garden. The whole complex is for the most part newly built, in an attractive traditional yet sleek modern style.

You enter through the patio that gives access to the various lodgings. At the front, the austere appearance does not suggest what luxury is hidden behind the thick walls! You can take it from us that this house will make a stunning impression, it has a beautiful luxurious finish.
The absolute highlight is the lovely swimming pool in the backyard; something unique for a village house in Andalusia!
The house consists of 4 en-suite bedrooms, large living room and children’s play area. TV room with 42” plasma TV and audio surround system, reading corner and exercise bike. Outside 3 terraces and a roof terrace with views, outdoor kitchen with fridge and BBQ. Pool terrace with luxurious sun loungers. A sandbox with toys. From the backyard view of the castle ruins next to the house and the cathedral. From the roof terrace there is a beautiful view over the town all the way to Cadiz and the Atlantic Ocean. In very clear weather you can even see Morocco.
This house is ideal for 2 families with children!
Surroundings Casa Azzurah
Medina Sidonia is a typical Spanish ‘white village’ away from mass tourism. You will fully experience real Spain here! There are a few supermarkets in the village. Many restaurants and cafes are located on the beautiful village square within walking distance. Beautiful Vejer de la Frontera, Jerez de la Frontera, Cadiz and the beaches of Conil, Palmar and Canos are all within a 30 minute drive. The region is also becoming increasingly known for the many top quality restaurants in great locations (info on request from owner).
Layout of this Holiday home
Large living room (55m2), with children’s play area and access to garden and swimming pool. Modern, very well equipped kitchen (e.g. La Creuset pans and Kenwood appliances).
One bedroom with double bed and bathroom en-suite (bath, shower, washbasin, toilet). Then a children’s room with a changing table, baby cot, cot and a full-size bunk bed.
Second bedroom with 2 single beds or double bed and bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet).
Third bedroom with double bed and seating area. Downstairs a bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet), a sofa-bed, baby cot, a baby bath with changing area.
The fourth room is accessible via the patio and has a private bathroom with toilet.
When renting with up to 6 people, 3 bedrooms are made available to you.
Remarks
• Underfloor heating and cooling via an air pump. In addition, each bedroom has a ceiling fan and an additional air conditioning unit in the living room.
• Hundreds of movies (also for children) and CDs available via multi-media system for the living room and TV room.
• Television in the living room.
• Second TV in the TV room.
• Fence around the swimming pool to protect small children.
• House is very suitable for (small) children and babies. Lots of amenities and toys for indoor and outdoor use.

Dit huis torent boven alle andere vakantiehuizen uit.
Afgelopen week met ons gezin van 4 en een gezin van 5 in dit prachtige vakantiehuis verbleven. Het weer was helaas niet de gehele week ideaal maar door de prettige sfeer, was je dat bij “thuiskomst” snel vergeten. De woning(en) zijn echt prima verzorgd en aan alles, maar dan ook echt alles is gedacht! Medina Sidonia is een gezellig wit dorp met smalle straatjes en het echte Spaanse dorpsgevoel. Wij hebben al meerdere vakantiewoningen geboekt en moeten echt zeggen dat dit huis boven alle andere uittorent.
We hebben genoten!
Mooi huis met echt alles erop en eraan. Huis was schoon, netjes en lekker ruim. Super verblijf gehad. Ook Medina Sidonia is een verrassend mooi en sfeervol dorpje. Dit vakantiehuis is zeker een aanrader om je gezinsvakantie in door te brengen.
Een aanrader!
We hadden een heerlijke vakantie in Medina Sidonia met onze 3 zoons (1, 6 en 10 jaar), mijn ouders en mijn zus. De villa was fantastisch en alles was aanwezig. Zelfs in augustus was het hier niet te heet met temperaturen boven de 30 graden. De jongens waren dol op het zwembad en de tuin (veel schaduw). Het was verder heel fijn om in een stadje te zijn wat niet al te toeristisch is. Het stijgen en dalen, de smalle straten en het eenrichtingsverkeer in het stadje vormden een leuke uitdaging. Omdat het huis boven in het stadje ligt is het uitzicht fantastisch. Vanuit de tuin kijk je naar de mooie kerk. Tijdens de koelere avonduren komt het stadje weer tot leven met spelende kinderen op het plein en gezellige terrasjes. We zijn naar Bolonia, Jerez en Cadiz geweest. De eigenaren waren zeer hulpvaardig en we waren zeer tevreden met hen.
