Can Cistella is part of an ancient masia that has been beautifully renovated by the Dutch owners. You imagine yourself in a paradise with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, beautiful sunsets and that starry sky every time. The complex is located 2.5 kilometers from the medieval village of Cistella and you reach your holiday home via a well-maintained, semi-paved road.
Description of Can Cistella
The complex has a shared swimming pool, several holiday accommodations and each house has its own terrace. There is a general area around the pool and there is a pavilion with even more options (covered communal area), for example, here is a smart TV for general use. The pool is also shared with other guests. The owners know the area very well and are happy to give tips about everything there is to do in the vicinity. The GR hiking trail runs right behind the estate and good hikes can be started directly from the house.
Can Cistella is located at the front and consists of a living room with open kitchen and two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The terrace overlooks the olive trees, the surrounding mountains and the swimming pool. There is central heating and a built-in fireplace.
Surroundings of holiday home Can Cistella
The holiday home is located 2.5 kilometers from the village of Cistella (275 inhabitants). There is the shop (also bar with terrace) of Montse and Lydia where you can buy fresh bread and other daily necessities. Figueres is 12 kilometers away. Within an hour you are at Girona airport. The city of Girona is 45 kilometers away. Beautiful beaches can be reached in half an hour. The owners have many good (restaurant) tips.

Living room with television, central heating and wood stove. 1 bedroom with a double bed (separate mattresses) and 1 bedroom with a double bed and a box bed (1 pers). 2 bathrooms with toilet, sink and shower.
Remarks
• You can book a hot meal and/or breakfast with the owners.
• Electricity is generated by means of solar panels. A generator provides replacement if there is insufficient sun.
• Economical use of electricity and water is important here. Don’t worry if there is no light, the stars are more visible in the dark.
• Wi-Fi reception is possible in the general area.
• The pool has a shallow end.
• Dogs welcome for a fee.
• Nearest Spanish airport is Girona (GRO) at about 50 minutes drive.
