But we can find this coastal region in Europe, in Spain to be precise! As the name suggests: the Costa Tropical has a wonderful climate.<\/p>\n<h2>Sun and tropical fruits<\/h2>\n<p>The Costa Tropical is a coastline in the province of Granada of about one hundred kilometers long. The start is in the town of La Herradura and the end point is in La R\u00e1bita. The name is derived from the mild climate and the many tropical fruits that grow here. The mountain ranges of the Sierra Nevada protect the area from cool air currents. Moreover, in the Costa Tropical the sun shines 320 days a year.<\/p>\n<h2>Costa Tropical: sunny and authentic<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to fruit cultivation, tourism is an important source of income for this region. The fascinating coastline, fascinating sights, historic towns and beautiful nature make the Costa Tropical a versatile holiday destination. In addition, this Spanish region has not yet been discovered by international mass tourism. This allows you to enjoy an authentic Spanish atmosphere in many places in the Costa Tropical.<\/p>\n<h2>Discover the diversity<\/h2>\n<p>Whether you have booked a holiday home on the Costa Tropical or in another region nearby. It is worth exploring the towns in the area. For example, go to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Motril<\/strong> \u2013 This is the largest town on the Costa Tropical. Here you will find interesting sights, such as various churches. Or walk through the Pueblos de Am\u00e9rica Park with its beautiful fountains and many palm trees. You can also discover the history of Motril and its surroundings in the Museo de Historia de Motril. The Andalusian city also offers several beaches, a harbor and a wide choice of restaurants. But especially the setting makes Motril so special. The town is located by the sea with the imposing peaks of the Sierra Nevada as a background.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Almu\u00f1\u00e9car<\/strong> \u2013 The main resort of the Costa Tropical has nevertheless retained its typical Andalusian atmosphere. Stroll along the long beach of San Crist\u00f3bal. Or find a picturesque bay surrounded by high cliffs. Another reason to visit Almu\u00f1\u00e9car is its rich ancient past. For example, in the middle of the city you will find a Roman aqueduct.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Salobre\u00f1a<\/strong> &#8211; Here you can walk through narrow streets past the typical white houses of Andalusia. Because Salobre\u00f1a is partly built on a hill, you often come across beautiful views as you walk through the town. For an extra magnificent vantage point, the Alcazaba is highly recommended. From this Moorish castle you can see the Sierra Nevada, but also the Mediterranean Sea. Would you rather stroll along the boulevard? This is also possible in the newer and lower part of Salobre\u00f1a which borders the coast.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The region has much more to offer. Especially if you like to discover even more of southern Spain. The beautiful nature of the Sierra Nevada is close by.
