Valldemossa is a picturesque mountain village on Mallorca. With winding streets, old houses with gardens full of beautiful flowers and gorgeous views over the valley. The village exudes a rustic charm and is known for the oil painting landscapes of the artist Rubi\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Major attractions include the 14th-century Charterhouse, where writer George Sand and composer Chopin stayed for a while, and the ceramic shops with typical Mallorcan pottery products. The spectacular cliffs and bays on the coast are also worth a visit.<\/p>\n

In the restaurants you can taste delicious local dishes such as the Mallorcan bread sobrassada. There is a lot to experience culturally, from classical concerts to folk dances and processions. Valldemossa gives a good impression of the traditional Mallorcan lifestyle. The beauty of Valldemossa has not escaped the attention of the well-known magazine National Geographic. They shortlisted the village for their election of the most beautiful village in Spain 2024.<\/p>\n

In addition to the maze of narrow streets and alleys, there is also a beautiful garden in the center of Valldemossa. This Jardins Rei Joan Carles borders the famous monastery and from the garden you have a beautiful view of the monastery. You can enjoy walking among the lush flowers and plants.
