Finca Ramona is an old Majorcan house in the Colonya Valley, a beautiful place surrounded by mountains and ancient olive fields and other native Majorcan trees. This holiday home in Mallorca can be reached from the town of Pollensa (3 km) and is located along a narrow road that leads past several farms and old country houses.<\/p>\n
The house has been carefully renovated in the winter of 2020, with special emphasis on preserving old traditional elements such as the stone walls and wooden beams on the ceilings, while giving the interior a more modern character. Some of the major improvements to be mentioned are the newly tiled floors, the renovated kitchen and bathrooms and the addition of a fifth (outdoor) bathroom.<\/p>\n
Upon entering in the center of the house, there is a spacious dining room with traditional walls and lighting, from here you access the fully equipped kitchen which still has the old fireplace typical of old Majorcan houses.<\/p>\n
On the ground floor there is also a spacious recreation room where one can play table football or sit on the large comfortable sofa chaise longue to enjoy movies on the impressive 65-inch screen. The smart TV is equipped with a wireless internet connection so that customers can enjoy their Amazon, Netflix and other streaming accounts.<\/p>\n
From the dining room an internal stone arch leads to a double bedroom on the ground floor which is adjacent to a full bathroom.<\/p>\n
To the left of the main entrance you will find a staircase that leads you to the upper floor where the remaining bedrooms are located: two twin rooms sharing a full bathroom, a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and two double bedrooms sharing a fourth bathroom.<\/p>\n
Outside we find spacious terraces for alfresco dining during the hot summer months or to enjoy an aperitif in one of the two “chill out areas” while looking out over the valley and the surrounding mountains. On one side of the terrace you will also find a covered BBQ area with a fridge, ideal for grilling enthusiasts.<\/p>\n
The pool is surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds and a Balinese day bed. The swimming pool, with Roman steps, has also been completely renovated and re-tiled in 2020. Outside you will also find a full bathroom (the fifth), as well as a laundry room with racks to store bicycles. Finally, it should be noted that the house has a free internet connection via Wi-Fi (with several repeaters to have internet in all rooms).<\/p>\n
The town, about three kilometers away, has a number of authentic Spanish restaurants and nice shops.
