This beautiful villa Cortijo Ladera is in the most peaceful private location, on a hill surrounded by olive groves with stunning views of the reservoir below. This modern detached house, of exeptional character, is accessed by a mostly concreted path and has a large covered terrace on two sides of the house, a spacious patio and a beautiful private swimming pool measuring approximately 9 x 4.5 metres. The owners of the cortijo moved to Izn\u00e1jar in January 2019, as they were attracted to the beautiful landscape and the reservoir. Their two dogs keep them entertained and they enjoy visiting different parts of this beautiful region of Andalusia with friends in the local walking groups. They are always ready for advice and questions.<\/p>\n
The villa features an open plan ground floor with a good-sized kitchen, a large living room plus an adjoining TV room and a downstairs bathroom. Upstairs are the three large bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have private terraces with views over the lake and the hills beyond. Within an hour’s drive of both Granada and Malaga airports, the villa is easily accessible by car over excellent roads.<\/p>\n
Hillside town of Iznajar is just a 10 minute drive from the house, the village has a variety of attractions including a castle, churches, several bars, restaurants, pharmacies, a medical center and a variety of shops. West of Iznajar is a small sandy beach where you can soak up the sun, take a walk, swim in the lake or rent a pedal boat, kayak or paddleboard. A little further afield, in Archidona and Rute, larger supermarkets offer a wider choice of food and drinks. The surrounding area offers beautiful walks with stunning views, be it among the olive trees in the hills or overlooking the lake. For cycling enthusiasts, the terrain around the villa can be a fantastic challenge!<\/p>\n
