Monte Boi

Monte Boi is a small atmospheric area near the city of São Bartolomeu de Messines. Messines is a few minutes drive and has a market, supermarkets, bank, various shops, pharmacy, post office, restaurants and bars.

The beautiful castle town of Silves is also well worth a visit. Silves is one of the most beautiful towns in the Algarve. It has remains of a castle, a beautiful cathedral and many small streets. Beaches are about 25 minutes away: such as the beautiful beaches west of Albufeira: Praia Sao Rafael, Castelo or Lourenço or the beach of Galé or Armaçao de Pera.
