Jávea has a beautiful old center with beautiful squares and historic buildings, including the fortified church of San Bartolomeo from the 14th century, Palacio de Baãuls from the 17th century, which now houses the archaeological and ethnographic museum. In the beautifully restored market building you can still do your shopping or for a drink and delicious tapas fresh from the market. The beach can be reached from the city on foot in 20 minutes and within 4 minutes by car.
