Carvoeiro

The small-scale Carvoeiro in the Algarve has beautiful, golden beaches, and the lovely center is located directly on the sea. They don’t do high-rise buildings here, which creates a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

From Faro airport in the Algarve you can reach this attractive fishing village in an hour. As befits a popular seaside resort, you don’t have to search long for nice restaurants, terraces, coffee bars and shops. That’s why it’s always buzzing.

Until a few years ago, Carvoeiro was only a beach, but these days it is an official village. By the way, the name Carvoeiro comes from the word ‘Caboiere’, which means a hamlet where fishermen live.
