Lagoa

Lagoa is a town and municipality in the Portuguese district of Faro. The municipality is 89 km² in total. Its rural characteristics means that part of the inhabitants devote themselves to viticulture, horticulture and the planting of carob trees.

The villages that make up Lagoa have some of the most beautiful scenery in the Algarve, and we highly recommend a walk through one of them: Ferragudo, Benagil and Carvoeiro.

This municipality has a coastline of about 17 km and is known for the beauty of its beaches, and several golf courses.
