El Molinell is a small village where time seems to have stood still in the middle of beautiful nature. People still do their laundry in water basins in the ground. It is located about 10 minutes from the villages of La Torre d’En Besora and Culla where you will find small supermarkets, a few bars and a restaurant.
For large supermarkets and banks, you can go to the (seaside) towns of Oropesa del Mar, Benicasim (approx. 1 hour by car) and Castellon. Valencia can be reached in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Inland you can make trips to Villafranca del Cid (40 minutes by car), the medieval Cantavieja located high on a rock (approx. 1 hour) and Pitarque (1.5 hours) with waterfall and source of the river of the same name.
