Canillas de Aceituno
This village is 51 km. east of Malaga and 20 km. from the coastal town Torre del Mar. From Canillas de Aceituno there is the possibility to climb the Maroma, the highest mountain in the Axarquía. In this village, a Moorish tower opposite the town hall reminds of the Moorish period. There are many small shops and some good restaurants.
