Olias
This small village is located at a 20 km. from the city of Malaga, close yet the city seems far away. The road to Olias winds up and the views along the way are breathtaking.
Viticulture has traditionally taken place in the region. When a disease hit the vines en masse, the economy collapsed completely and many left for the big city. Fortunately, there are some winemakers who make traditional Malaga wines in the region again. Like, for example, the oldest in the capital, La Bodega Antigua Casa de Guardia.
