Taifa Niebla

Taifa Niebla is a small town in the beautiful province of Huelva. The great showpiece of the town is the old city wall. The fortified wall is complete and well preserved and dates back to the time of the Muslim Almohad dynasty (12th-13th centuries). The ramparts are 2 km long, reach a maximum height of 16 meters and have about fifty towers. The castle of the Guzmanes (15th century) was built on the Alcázar after the Reconquista. It is completely integrated into the city wall. The six gateways (of Seville, Embarcadero, Agua, Buey, Socorro and Agujero) have also been preserved. They are all different in architecture.
