Finca del Rio is located in the middle of a vineyard. From the terraces around the finca you have a view of the valley of Rio Guadiaro and the mountains.
Description of holiday home Finca del Rio
Finca del Rio is located in the middle of nature near the beautiful village Cortes de la Frontera, adjacent to the house of the owners, but with plenty of privacy on your own terrace. There are also several terraces by the pool and in the vineyard. On a lower terrace is the large swimming pool with shade and sun and beautiful views of the rugged mountain landscape.
In and around the vineyard are fruit trees that you can enjoy. Finca del Rio is a cozy house with a sitting area by the wood stove, wonderful to enjoy some peace and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped. There are many hiking trails nearby, from village to village or higher up in the rugged mountains. It is a paradise for bird watchers and there’s a sea of flowers in spring. The last 50 meters to the house is a road with some bumps and potholes.
A welcome pack with milk, bread, eggs, butter, jam and bottled water will be waiting for you on arrival. The owners live on site in the adjoining property and are available to offer help and advice; they share their home with Merlin, their sweet dog and some friendly cats. Other pets are therefore not welcome.
Surroundings of Finca del Rio
The village of Cañada del Real Tesoro, 1000 inhabitants, is a 10-minute walk away and has a good bakery, supermarket, tapas bars and a restaurant. Canada is located on the railway line between Ronda and the coast. A few times a day the train goes to Ronda and other villages through beautiful scenery. Malaga is 1.5 hours drive, Estepona an hour, Ronda can be reached within 45 minutes, Gaucin within 15 minutes and Cortes de la Frontera, with a good selection of bars and restaurants, is only 5 minutes away. The immediate area is ideal for walkers and cyclists, there are several routes that will offer avid cyclists a nice challenge.

All rooms are on one level. Seating area by the wood stove and open kitchen with dining table. Bedroom with double bed (1.50 x 2.00 m) and bedroom with 2 single beds. Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The property has a large front terrace with amazing mountain views, and access to the private pool surrounded by mature gardens. There is covered parking on site.

The pool measures 10x4m.

Dit is een ongelooflijk mooie en ontspannende plek om te verblijven. Een zeer comfortabele en goed ingerichte finca met prachtige tuinen en buitenruimtes. Het gebied is gewoonweg prachtig.
Wij komen zeker terug!
Een perfecte plek om even los te komen van de dagelijkse routine, omringd door prachtige uitzichten en natuur. Het huis beschikt over alle comfort en heeft zijn rustieke charme behouden. De gastheren zijn charmant en vriendelijk en respecteren te allen tijde de privacy.
