Alájar

Alájar is a lovely village surrounded by nature, with whitewashed houses and winding cobbled streets. The rugged crag Peña de Arias Montano towers over the town. This is also where it gets its name (comes from the Arabic word “stone”). The village has several nice restaurants and bars. You can also do your daily shopping here.
