This charming stone farmhouse, called Casa Romantica, is nestled in the peace and quiet of the beautiful Mallorcan countryside, not far from Pollensa and just a short 10 minute drive from the glorious coastline. Surrounded by stunning views, it is a villa full of Majorcan charm and character with its beamed ceilings, rustic tiled floors and exposed stone walls. The beautifully maintained lawn offers plenty of opportunity to sunbathe next to the lovely private swimming pool (8 x 5 meters) with a view of the unspoilt nature.
Layout Casa Romantica
The private entrance, shrouded in colorful flowers, opens onto a long unmade driveway leading to the villa and the spacious parking area. Inside, the fitted kitchen has low beamed ceilings and a double sink, large refrigerator, dishwasher, ceramic hob, electric oven and walk-in wardrobe. The spacious lounge-dining room features authentic and tasteful wooden furniture, paintings and decorative Majorcan plates and ceramics. From the living room, a staircase leads to the sleeping area. The house has 3 bedrooms; 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds and a bedroom with a double bed. 2 bathrooms, 1 with bath and 1 with shower, are also located on this floor.
In front of the villa is a large terrace decorated with a pergola grape, used for the most tasteful wines, from where you can admire the beautiful rural surroundings of the villa. At the side of the villa there is a built-in BBQ plus a charcoal oven under a cool covered terrace, and a shower room further up. On the side there is also a staircase to a small roof terrace; the ideal place to sunbathe undisturbed.
Surroundings Casa Romantica
The authentic tapas restaurants and quaint shops of Pollensa‘s old town are just a short walk away. The nearest port, Port de Pollença, can be reached within 10 minutes by car, and beyond this marina there is an extensive sandy beach. The location of Casa Romantica is perfect for making trips to Cape Formentor, the most northern point of Mallorca. The beaches of Cala San Vicente, at about 10 minutes by car, are well worth a visit, and of course the impressive Tramuntana Mountains. From the port of Alcúdia, about 20 minutes by car, you can get on the boat for a day trip to Barcelona.
