Casa Tortosa is largely self-sufficient: water from a well and solar panels that provide enough electricity for a comfortable stay. Heating is done with two wood stoves, one of which is connected to the radiators in the rooms. The house is comfortable inside and out, although you have to be prepared for the silence and real Spanish country life!
Description Casa Tortosa
This vacation rental is a typical Taha house. Far away from mass tourism, in the middle of the olive trees, the ideal place to read or write a book. The house is owned by two good friends who have fulfilled a dream with the purchase of this house. The house has two bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The living room has a wood stove and the kitchen is very well equipped. The interior of the house is decorated with all kinds of nice, vintage paintings and trinkets. On the two terraces of the cottage you will find nice seating areas for a snack and a drink.
Surroundings of Casa Tortosa
Casa Tortosa is located in the countryside just east of the town of Tortosa. About a 15-minute drive by car. Beaches such as Cap Roig, Perelló-Mar, Platja Santa Llúcia are 30 to 35 minutes drive away. A little further south are the wide beaches of the Deltebre, or the small bays of the Costa Daurada, which can be reached in 45 minutes. There is a walking path along the entire coast, so you can discover quiet beaches that are almost inaccessible by car. The region in which you will be staying is known for its cuisine; fish, oysters, tuna, fresh fruits and vegetables. There are some very good restaurants in the towns, in the delta and upstream of the Ebro. In the mountains of Els Ports there are many hiking trails that lead past waterfalls or higher into the mountains. Tortosa is a nice, undiscovered town with interesting sights such as the castle, the cathedral and the central market. A little further away is Tarragona, a lively city with history. The cities of Barcelona and Valencia are respectively 1.5 and 2 hours away by car.

Zeker een aanrader!
Heerlijke plek als je van rust en groen houdt! Ruime tuin met fantastisch uitzicht en meerdere fijne terrasjes, waar je zowel van de zon kan genieten als de schaduw op kan zoeken. De woning is eenvoudig maar van alle gemakken voorzien en sfeervol ingericht, je voelt je er direct thuis. Alle rust en privacy, maar dichtbij leuke dorpjes en het strand.
Kom graag nog eens terug.
Wat een prachtige plek, heerlijk rustig in de olijfboomgaard, maar ook dicht genoeg bij stadjes en strand. Sfeervol huis, met veel aandacht ingericht, verschillende terrassen met zon of schaduw, hangmatten tussen de bomen, en overal prachtig uitzicht! Wij hebben genoten. Oja, op 2 km van huis erg leuk en goed restaurantje bij kerkje. En een goed gevulde boekenkast!
Uitzicht vanaf het tuinterras is adembenemend!
Deze casa is een heerlijke plek voor mensen die graag op een rustige plek verblijven, maar toch met alle handige voorzieningen, zoals restaurants en winkels, dichtbij (op korte rijafstand). Stranden liggen op ongeveer een half uur rijden, prachtige natuurgebieden iets verderop. De styling van het huis en de tuin (met olijfbomen) is mooi en eenvoudig, de bedden zijn groot en comfortabel en het weer blijft mooi tot eind oktober.
