Cumeada

Cumeada is a tiny village in the heart of the Algarve. Surrounded by nature and the large Alqueva Lake, this village has another important natural phenomenon, the night sky.

It’s not easy to find villages with such low levels of light pollution; the ‘black sky’ is very popular among admirers of the stars and the universe. Prefer to keep your ‘feet on the ground’? The old castle of Cumeada is also very photogenic.
