This authentic villa Casa Cortado is located in the countryside in the Sierra Calderona, north of Valencia. The holiday home is surrounded by a beautiful mature garden with tropical flowers, orange, lemon, plum, apricot, walnut and olive treesn. The garden consists of several terraces and a private swimming pool. The outdoor kitchen is perfect for a barbecue, paella or tapas.

Since they bought the house ‘fully furnished’, the owners have tried to renovate it as sustainably as possible; a lot of furniture has been reused and up-cycled, but the house has also been modernized by installing solar panels on the roof for hot water, there is air conditioning and the bathrooms have been beautifully renovated. The former garage has been converted into a bedroom with a comfortable en-suite bathroom, this bedroom with a double bed is adjacent to the kitchen.
There are 3 more bedrooms, 1 with single beds and 2 with a double bed. In total there are three beautiful bathrooms at your disposal, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Since the owners of Casa Cortado partly live here themselves, the house has a personal character with photos and paintings made by family members. In addition, coffee, tea and other non-perishable items such as spices are available for you in the kitchen.
Immediate vicinity of Casa Cortado
At 100 meters there are a number of sports fields, where you can play tennis, for example, and there’s a small bar, open in summer. Cycling and walking are popular in this beautiful area. It is a 20-minute drive to the beaches of Sagunto, and just over 30 minutes to Valencia.
Remarks
- Check-in is done by key box.
- Being a typical Spanish villa there are steps and stairs to access the house, pool and garden.
- The pool has a depth of 1.15 to about 1.90, and has a salt water filter system.
- Owners ask for a security deposit of € 500,-
- The nearest airport is Valencia (VLC) at about half an hour’s drive.
