Come and enjoy everything that Casa Escondida has to offer: beautiful nature, nice village, not far from the beach, close to Granada and much more. It is located on the edge of the village of Albuñuelas. From the terraces at the house you have a direct view of the beautiful landscape around the village. It is wonderful to enjoy the terrace above at sunset; also great for sunbathing. The terrace below is ideal for outdoor dining and seeking shade. In a corner of the garden is a small plunge pool of about two by two meters. There are two seats in the bath; ideal place for a book and a drink. The house has been beautifully renovated by the Dutch owners. It is fully furnished and very cosy.
On a cold day it is wonderful to sit by the wood stove. It is a detached house with a private garden with completely unobstructed views. There is practically no traffic in this corner of the village. Lovely to hear the sound of the mules going to the vegetable gardens with the farmer in the morning. From the house you can walk to the bars and shops in the village in a few minutes. Albuñuelas is located in the Valle de Lecrin, the area between Granada and the coast. There are many beautiful hikes in the area. The long-distance trail, the GR-7, passes Casa Escondida and continues into the valley.
Surroundings of Casa Escondida
Albuñuelas is located in the Valle de Lecrin. A beautiful valley with a number of typical Andalusian villages. Around the villages is a beautiful terraced landscape with orange trees, fig trees, almond trees, olive trees, etc. Higher up a rougher landscape with sometimes views of the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada. The village (1300 inhabitants) is very centrally located. You can reach the coast from Albuñuelas in about half an hour, in the beautiful city of Granada and at the first villages of the Alpujarras and Sierra Nevada.

• It is possible to park close to the house, but it is better to park the car at the top of the village in the parking lot and then walk five minutes to the house.

Zowel het huis, de omgeving als ontvangst waren prima. Omgeving echt heel mooi! Wij zouden dit huisje zeker aanraden bij familie en vrienden.

Het huis en de omgeving was prachtig! Alles was naar wens. Het ontvangst was overweldigend hele vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Top!!! We hebben een geweldige week gehad. Het was een prachtig huis. Het huis is nog mooier als op de foto’s. Echt een aanrader!!
Fantastisch huis.
Een fantastisch huis met een hartelijke ontvangst. Spaanse gastvrouw was er snel nadat wij gebeld hadden. Met handen en voeten legde ze ons alle ins en outs van het huisje uit.
Fijn dat er duidelijk informatie in de map was.
Het huis en de omgeving zijn heerlijk.
Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Het staat in een rustig dorpje en heeft een mooie tuin met een heerlijk zwembadje.
