Hidden among the trees just above the whitewashed village of Montecorto, just 15 minutes northwest of Ronda, this wonderfully romantic retreat is ‘sculpted’ around a limestone rock. The enormous rocks have been ingeniously integrated into the design of Casa Fantasia.
Description Casa Fantasia
It is a bit of a climb, but it is well rewarded. Casa Fantasia is the highest house in the mountain village of Montecorto, from the terrace you can look over everything and everyone. On the outside a typical Andalusian house, inside a beautiful surprise awaits you. The rocks on which the house is built is part of the beautiful interior.

A pyramid-shaped atrium is the visual axis around which the open living room/dining room/kitchen is located: during the day sunlight streams in and at night you can look up at the starry sky. Your eye is immediately drawn to the breathtaking view of the peaks of the Grazalema National Park. Adjacent to the living room is the lovely terrace with infinity plunge pool (3.0 m x 3.0 m, 1.55 m deep). In the ‘study’ you will find an iMac with free internet.
There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom with king-size double bed and walk-in closet is very romantic. The bedroom can be reached via a staircase that winds down through the rocks. There is a huge walk-in closet in this room with plenty of shelving and hanging space.
You will also find a bathroom on this floor. The round bathtub is carved out the rocks; awesome. From the bath you have a view of the mountain range in the distance.
On the top floor there is another bedroom for 2 people, with access to the roof (terrace).

Minimum stay is 7 nights, with a preferred arrival on Saturday.
