This detached house with a securely fenced pool is located in a small, quiet valley between Ronda and Arriate. Casa Los Frailes is a spacious and bright house, comfortably and tastefully decorated.

In front of the house is a partly covered terrace, a lovely garden and private swimming pool. Casa Los Frailes is a short distance from the home of the hospitable Spanish-Dutch owners. Francis is from Ronda. Lies came to Serranía de Ronda from Amsterdam in 1995. They are as self-sufficient as possible. Francis has a professional organic vegetable garden and the house uses solar energy with backup from the electricity grid.
There is free WiFi and HDTV (with Spanish channels and possibility to switch to original audio). There is also a well-stocked bookcase, a wood burner for cooler evenings and all kinds of facilities for small children such as toys, a cot and high chair.
The road to the holiday home is a well-maintained, largely asphalted country road with a sharp bend at the end and a short, fairly steep descent (passable by all cars).

The lively village of Arriate, 20 minutes walk has good tapas bars, supermarkets and restaurants. Ronda is 8 km away and has many places of interest. Ronda is located in a mountainous area at 750 m above sea level. A deep gorge “El Tajo” splits Ronda in two, over which the famous “Puente Nuevo” with breathtaking views. Ronda is surrounded by natural parks with clean air and many beautiful hiking routes. Casa Los Frailes is centrally located to cities such as Granada, Cordoba, Seville and Malaga.

All rooms are on one level. Living room with seating area by the wood burner and open kitchen with dining area. Bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Another bedroom with double bed. Bedroom with 2 single beds. Bathroom with bath, washbasin, bidet and toilet.
Remarks
• Total capacity: 4 adults and 1 or 2 smaller children.
• The pool is 8 x 4 meters and safe for children.
• Seville Airport (SVQ) is a short 2 hour drive. Malaga (AGP) is 1.5 hours away.

Heel erg fijn
Prachtige omgeving, heel rustig midden in de natuur, huis was heel volledig ingericht, ontvangst was vriendelijk, zelfs de kachel was al aangestoken!
Dankbaar!
We zijn de eigenaar ontzettend dankbaar voor de service, met name het ophalen van onze vertraagde bagage in het dorp toen wij in Granada waren. Ideaal huis voor twee koppels door 2 tweepersoonskamers met eigen badkamer en woonkamer in het midden.
Alles overziend een heerlijke vakantie gehad
Ligging van het huis was prima met veel rust en veel privacy. We zijn heel vriendelijk ontvangen en goed op weg geholpen. Aan de rand van het dorpje Arriate maar dat was in de praktijk best wel een aardige tippel. Huis was prima en op de een of andere manier bleef het binnen ook aangenaam koel (zonder airco). Ruim terras waarvan een gedeelte overkapt (bij temperaturen ver in de 30 graden een weelde). Lekker zwembad ook met alles bij elkaar veel rust en privacy. Er zullen ongetwijfeld wat kleine gebreken zijn geweest maar dat dan in de marge en, indien nodig, door de eigenaresse prima opgelost.
Het was weer heerlijk!
Als je voor de derde keer gaat, kun je wel raden hoe het met onze waardering voor het huis, de omgeving en vooral de gastvrijheid van de eigenaren zit…
Geweldig adres!
Ontvangst is zeer vriendelijk. Zonder opdringerig te zijn geven de huiseigenaren tips en krijg je groenten uit de moestuin. Het is zeer persoonlijk en daardoor erg prettig. Met kinderen voel je je zeker erg welkom. Er is een kinderstoel aanwezig en zelfs de slabbetjes voor het eten waren aanwezig. Zeer vriendelijke mensen waar je je echt welkom voelt. Doordat ze een stukje de heuvel op wonen heb je wel echt een gevoel van privacy.

Heel fijn huis waar is over nagedacht. Zoals de indeling en aankleding zowel van binnen als van buiten. Veel natuur, vogels, privacy en vooral veel rust. Arriate is een leuk dorp. Eigenaren zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Is een huis waar je zeker nog een keer naar toe zult gaan.
