Cortijo El Membrillo is located in the middle of the beautiful terraced landscape of the Alpujarras, not far from the villages of Pitres and Portugos. You have great views of the valley and the mountains.
Description of the holiday home in Andalusia
The house was recently built in the style of the Alpujarras with a flat roof, ceiling with old beams, beautiful tiled floors and rustic furniture. On cooler evenings, the fireplace and additional heating provide comfort. The pool can be used from May to October 1. Around the holiday home you will always find a lovely spot in sun or shade. At the entrance is a large covered terrace where you can eat outside.
Cortijo El Membrillo is the ideal holiday home for those seeking tranquility. The GR7 long-distance hiking trail is nearby. Get to know the typical white mountain villages of the Alpujarras and the beautiful landscape. The young Spanish owner Alberto lives with his family in Pitres. He speaks some English and is a good host. Cortijo El Membrillo guarantees absolute tranquility and complete privacy. The last kilometer to Cortijo El Membrillo is a good road with a few steeper parts. No problem for experienced drivers.
Surroundings Cortijo El Membrillo
Pitres is less than a 10-minute drive away. Pitres has shops, bars and restaurants. Portugos is about a 15 minute walk along a path, where there is also a shop and bar/restaurant, as in the surrounding villages. The coast is a 1.30 hour drive. You can reach Granada with the famous Alhambra in just over an hour and a half.

All rooms are on one level. Spacious living room with seating area by the wood burner and dining table. Well equipped open kitchen. One bedroom with a double bed and two bedrooms with 2 single beds each. Two bathrooms; one with shower and the other with bath, both with toilet and sink.
Remarks
• The swimming pool measures 6×3 m.
• Swimming pool can be used from May 1 to November 1.
• You can park your car at the house.
• Tip: do not rent the smallest car due to steep parts in the road to the holiday home.
• From this holiday home it is a 1 hour and 45 minutes drive to the airport of Almeria (LEI). • Granada (GRX) is 1.5 hours away and Malaga (AGP) is 2.5 hours away.

Heel gezellig huis.
Aangenaam koel tijdens de erg warme dagen. Prachtige uitzicht, goed verzorgde tuin en zwembad. Prachtige natuur, wij hebben enorm genoten van de rustige streek, de dorpen vonden wij heel erg mooi het uitzicht was overal adembenemend. Verzorgd bed- en badlinnen, deze werden halverwege het verblijf verschoond. De eigenaar en zijn vrouw hebben ons hartelijk ontvangen.

Prachtige ligging. Lekker veel eigen ruimte. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Een heerlijk huis in een prachtige omgeving.
