From the holiday home you have a beautiful view of the Torcal Mountains with its erratic rock formations. Excellent starting point for spectacular hikes. The large fireplace makes Casa Alpaca Grande a good vacation spot in winter, too.
Description of this holiday home in Andalusia
Casa Alpaca is an ideal vacation spot for those who love the outdoors, long walks in rugged landscapes, peace, quiet and animals. Children will imagine themselves at a petting zoo. In addition to alpacas, some lovely dogs and cats, there is Josefa the donkey who likes to be petted. The sound of bells ringing around the necks of goats on their way to their pasture is part of everyday life here. The English owners are happy to let you enjoy country life. The smaller Casa Alpaca Pequeña is located next to, down from Casa Alpaca Grande. A partition ensures absolute privacy. Shared use of the swimming pool with spacious terrace in the off season. The owners enjoy hiking and are happy to inform you about hiking opportunities in the area.
Before she came to live in Spain, the owner had a ceramics factory, much of her beautiful work can be found in and around the house. She also makes art and pillowcases from the wool of the alpacas. A lot of her work is for sale.
Surroundings Casa Alpaca Grande
Casa Alpaca Grande is not far from Villanueva de la Concepción. Antequera is 20 minutes away and has supermarkets and good restaurants. Córdoba (1.5 hours) and Seville (2 hours) are also nice to visit. Málaga, with many seafood restaurants and nightlife options, is an attractive city in every season. The immediate surrounding of the holiday home invites you to go for a walk. Alpacas and donkeys live on the old farm itself, and you are welcome to help with the care of the animals.
Layout of this Holiday home
Ground floor: open plan kitchen and dining area. Spacious living room with large fireplace. Bedroom with bath/shower combination, washbasin and toilet.
First floor: 2 bedrooms with bathroom en-suite. Bedroom with double bed and bedroom with 2 single beds. Both bathrooms have a bath/shower combination and toilet. The master bedroom is very spacious and has a whirlpool bath. Casa Alpaca is a rustic vacation rental with colorful, eclectic decor.
Tip from La Taha
Visit the nearby nature reserve and UNESCO site of El Torcal. Bird watchers can indulge themselves here. The park has been in existence since 1929 and has a size of 1171 hectares. It is best known for its karst rock formations, which have been shaped into striking shapes by erosion.
Remarks
• Casa Alpaca Grande is a non-smoking holiday home.
• The swimming pool is 7×4 m and is shared with (possible) guests of Casa Alpaca Pequeña in low season. Only in the low season it is therefore a shared pool.
• Very spacious parking space in front of the holiday home.
• Nearest airport is Malaga (AGP) about 45 minutes drive.
• You should not be afraid of heights for the access road; you are really staying in the countryside here.
• Pets are more than welcome, free of charge (if they can get along well with other animals).

De eerste dagen was het koud. Het huis was verder geweldig en met zeer veel liefde ingericht. Prachtig uitzicht, de dieren waren erg leuk voor de kinderen. Dit huis is echt een aanrader.

Prachtig ingericht en prachtig gelegen. Heel luxe bij iedere slaapkamer een eigen badkamer!
