Nijar
Nijar is a lively Moorish village, known for its ceramics and carpets. There are also a few supermarkets, bars and restaurants. From Nijar a mule track leads through a beautiful valley to Huebro, a small hamlet in the mountains. The path leads past several old water mills from Moorish times. From Nijar it is half an hour by car to the beaches of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park and the city of Almeria.
