Sleeping in a thousand and one nights cave in Nijar. Ideal for two as ‘nido de enamarados’ (or love nest) as the owner says, but there is possibly a sofa for an extra person or 2 children. This romantic cottage is located next to Casa Atalaya and with joint rent also suitable for larger groups. From the terrace you will have a beautiful view of the village and in the distance the Natural Park Cabo de Gata. Cozy interior with a great sense of detail. In the romantic bedroom, which is located in the cave and can be reached via a low passage, you imagine yourself in a thousand and one nights. The cozy living room with open kitchen and bathroom are built against the cave. In addition to the veranda at the front, the highlight is the spacious roof terrace that offers sufficient privacy and where you can enjoy the sun during the day and which invites you to dream under the starry sky in the evening.
Surroundings of La Cueva
Nijar is a cozy village that is known for its ceramics and rugs made in the region. From Nijar it is about half an hour to the beaches of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park and to Almería. The last few hundred meters to the house is on a fairly narrow road that winds through the village. It is possible to get quite close to the house by car, but it is better to park the car at the bottom of the village.

Front terrace at entrance, dining area with dining table and chairs, open kitchen. Step to living room with sofa, which can be converted into a bed of 1.40 x 2.00 m. Low passage to bedroom with double bed, separated by curtain. Bathroom with bath/shower, washbasin, toilet and washing machine.
Remarks
– Nearest airport is Almeria (LEI), this is a fairly small airport. Alicante airport (ALC) is 3 hours away, this also applies to Malaga (AGP).
– La Cueva is located next to Taha holiday home Casa Atalaya.

Het heerlijke dakterras was inderdaad de "kers op de pudding".
Het huisje was precies zoals we ons dat hadden voorgesteld. Alles was in orde. De ruime beschikbaarheid van handdoeken was erg prettig. Ook het ruime aanbod van folders en kaarten was heel fijn. De ontvangst was hartelijk. Ligging van het huisje met het fantastische uitzicht was heel leuk (op kassen na). Nijar was wel erg rustig; het leukst was het pleintje bij de kerk.
Niets op aan te merken, helemaal niets.
Prachtig, qua ligging, huisje op zich en de omgeving en dus heel erg genoten van het verblijf in La Cueva. Taha biedt heel erg goed aanbod als je op zoek bent naar rust, authentieke huisjes tussen de plaatselijke bevolking en een prachtige omgeving.
La Cueva is een prachtplek.
Erg sfeervol huisje met alle gemakken!
