El Cortijo de Beatriz is a beautiful, rustic Spanish home. It is located in a very quiet area, surrounded by a 2-hectare plot, 5 kilometers from Vejer de la Frontera. The house and the Spanish furnishings evoke memories from days gone by.
Description of this lovely holiday home in Andalusia
The garden and grounds surrounding the house are beautiful: a large lawn, many trees including palms, pines, oaks and a small olive grove. Furthermore, a small stream runs over the property with many flowers, ducks and birds visiting the water. There are terraces on all sides where, depending on the need, you can sit and/or lie in the sun or shade. The swimming pool is located in the garden, slightly below the house and is fenced. Due to the central heating, the house is also very comfortable to live in in winter.
Surroundings of El Cortijo de Beatriz
Vejer de la Frontera is a 10-minute drive away. The old town of Vejer is beautifully situated on a hilltop surrounded by Moorish city walls. Beautiful views of the surrounding landscape from everywhere. Vejer is very lively, full of historic buildings, beautiful squares, narrow streets, old houses with beautiful patios, good restaurants and of course cozy terraces. In Vejer you will find all groceries, post office, banks and more.
The beautiful golden yellow, kilometre-long beach of El Palmar is a 10-minute drive past Vejer. Malaga is a 2-hour drive, Seville can be reached in 1.5 hours. Gibraltar – don’t forget your passport – is just over an hour from this holiday home.

Ground floor – large living/dining room with two terraces (one covered, the other open). Very large, well-equipped kitchen with small terrace (great to have breakfast here).
Two bedrooms (each with 2 single beds). Each bedroom with its own bathroom (bath/shower, washbasin, toilet).
1st Floor – Bedroom with double bed and bathroom en-suite (shower, 2 washbasins, toilet). Balcony with view towards Vejer.

• Arrival and departure on Friday.
• All rooms have a ceiling fan.
• Pool is fenced, so safe for children.
• A security deposit of € 150 is required before arrival.
• Seville Airport (SVQ) 1.5 hours drive, Málaga Airport (AGP) is 2 hours drive.

Dit huis is zeker aan te raden!
Een geweldig huis, goed ingericht met een mooie tuin, heel privé. Het zwembad is prima. Een van de beste huizen waar we tot nu toe zijn geweest. Er is geen formele ontvangst, sleutel ligt in een kastje. Maar er werd door de eigenaresse direct gereageerd toen er een probleem was met de WiFi. Attenties als een paar dingen in de koelkast en een paar bloemen op tafel is erg fijn. We hebben niets gemist, Alles was aanwezig. De service is goed, er wordt altijd snel gereageerd. We reserveren al meer dan 10 jaar huizen bij la Taha, dus dat zegt al veel. We vinden het wel jammer dat soms huizen die we prettig en leuk vonden uit het bestand verdwijnen. We weten natuurlijk niet wat daarvoor de reden is (voetnoot La Taha: over het algemeen betekent het dat de woning verkocht is, en de nieuwe eigenaren het niet langer willen verhuren. We proberen huizen altijd binnenboord te houden, maar soms lukt dat helaas niet).
Dikke duim.
Zeer aangename verrassing deze woning en ook met name de enorme ruimte eromheen.
Mooie uitvalsbasis naar stranden en Cadiz en Sevilla.
Mooi en rustig gelegen woonhuis met veel rust en groen om het huis. Inrichting wat klassiek maar zeer compleet. De eerste behoeften van boodschappen waren aanwezig, fijn als je laat aankomt.
We loved Cortijo de Beatriz.
It’s old and full of character, it’s in a peaceful location very close to Vejer with great views of the countryside, the porch is fabulous for family meals and the swimming pool and garden are fantastic. The check in went smoothly and the communication with the host was fast and very friendly.
Dit is voor ons een droomhuis...
…de omgeving, de veranda, het zwembad, de rust, het Spaanse gevoel, het is er echt prachtig!
