Casa Andres is the ideal place for lovers of peace, nature and Andalusian life. The detached house invites you to totally retreat and enjoy nature. But you are only a few minutes walk from village life with bars and restaurants.
Description of holiday home Casa Andres in Andalusia
Around Casa Andres is a garden with, among other things, olive trees, almond trees and encinas (small oaks). From the front terrace you have a view of the valley and mountains. This holiday home is in an exceptionally green spot, with many tall trees and mature shrubs. Casa Andres has a large living room, no less than 90 m2, with a seating area by the wood burner and an open kitchen. The high wooden ceiling gives the place a lovely atmosphere.
Through sliding glass doors you have access to the partly covered terrace, ideal place to eat outside at the picnic table. Close to Casa Andres, El Peñasco is located on a higher terrace. Originally Casa Andres is the guest house at El Peñasco, but you have complete privacy through the gardens, the two houses are completely hidden from oneanother. Casa Andres and El Peñasco together can accommodate 8 people. From Casa Andres you can walk right into the beautiful hilly landscape. However, within a 10-minute walk you can also reach one of the small village squares with restaurants and bars. The last 200 m to the holiday home is a fairly steep and narrow road. Parking is possible higher up in the village, but if you rent a rental car no larger than a C-class, it should work.
Surroundings Casa Andres
In Gaucín you will find all your daily shopping + bars and restaurants. Gaucín is located in the southern part of the Serranía de Ronda and is an ideal starting point for walks in the area. Ronda and the sea are half an hour away by car. In Gaucin itself you will find several artisan shops and galleries.
Layout of holiday home Casa Andres
All on one floor: living room with seating area by the wood burner, a spacious dining area, arch to kitchen. Bedroom with double bed, and a third bed for children up to 12 years. The bedroom is equipped with air conditioning. The bathroom, accessible from both the living room and the bedroom, has a sink, shower and toilet. The double bed can be converted into 2 single beds.
Tip from La Taha
A day at the beach, but far away from mass tourism? Visit Alicate Playa, just past Marbella, an hour away. Free parking is available at the end of Avenida Andasol. There are 2 restaurants on this wide sandy beach, which rent out sun loungers and provide delicious meals. In general, it is nice and quiet here, even on summer days. Restaurante Da Sergio (Miguel y Maria) makes fantastic fresh pizzas!

• The nearest airport is Gibraltar an hour away. Malaga (AGP) is about an hour and 20 minutes drive.

Mooie badkamer en slaapkamer.
We werden volgens plan opgepikt en naar het huis gebracht. We vonden het huis prettig en de ligging heel mooi met een wilde tuin en uitzicht op de heuvels en zee in de verte. De ruimtes waren fijn groot en hoog, wel een beetje koud voor dit seizoen (begin april). Daarom fijn dat er een houtkachel was.
Huis was mooier en groter dan we dachten.
Erg goed ingerichte en uitgeruste keuken. Terras is erg mooi. We hadden een piepklein huis verwacht, bleek veel groter te zijn.
Een droom van een zeer rustieke casita.
Veel ruimte en koel, enorme tuin met schaduw van de bomen en uitzicht dal. Moeilijk bereik voor auto’s vanwege ligging onderaan het dorp. Vriendelijk ontvangst bij de bushalte. Gaucín is prachtig, fijne restaurants met nog Spaanse keuken.
We hebben genoten!
Mooi en koel huis, erg smaakvol ingericht en lekker groot voor 2 personen. Mooi terras, mooie beplanting. Mooi gebied, erg leuk dorp met precies genoeg te doen (restaurants ed). Soms erg warm maar het was dan ook hartje zomer… Mooie inrichting, smaakvol en ruim. Erg mooie en handige keuken. Heerlijk bed!! Het is zelfs nog mooier dan op de leuke foto’s!
Voor herhaling vatbaar!
Prachtig uitzicht, vloerverwarming badkamer; erg aangenaam in wintermaanden. Met een beetje durf met auto te bereiken en verlaten (1e versnelling). Prachtig gebied: veel natuur, cultuur en routes, bijv. PUEBLOS BLANCOS. In wintermaanden houtkachel branden. Genoeg kookmogelijkheden. Bedden slapen zalig en lekker groot!
Een droomhuis.
Heerlijke sfeer, comfortabel, kortom een droomhuis. Droomplek, vooral de privacy vond ik heel fijn terwijl je toch zo het dorp inwandelt voor een boodschap of een drankje. Het dorp heeft onopvallend de voordelen van toerisme; restaurantjes, voorzieningen, maar geen massale nieuwbouw of grootschaligheid. Er ontbreekt niets, uitstekend. We hebben lekker gekookt. Vurrukkuluk bed, lekker stevig. Klamboe kwam een paar dagen goed van pas. Nou als ik echt moet zeuren, wat schoteltjes voor kleine hapjes. De beschrijving klopte tot onze verbazing precies! Heerlijk huis voor ouder stel zonder kinderen die sociale contacten het liefste mijden in de vakantie. Mijn man brak zijn enkel tijdens een wandeling en ze hebben ons naar het ziekenhuis gebracht en later naar het vliegveld ontzettend lief en behulpzaam. Bij aankomst met huurauto zou ik de weg naar het huisje eerst te voet verkennen. Het is te doen maar de weg en de oprit zijn wel flink steil.
