El Peñasco with swimming pool is located in a unique place in the middle of nature with completely unobstructed views of the valley and mountains. El Peñasco (‘steep rock’) is built on ‘sun and view’. What is special is that the holiday home is surrounded by a terrace. At the large pool is a spacious sun terrace.
Description of this holiday home with swimming pool
The house is tastefully decorated: quality, comfort, beautiful bathrooms, complete kitchen, etc. The holiday home has central heating. Surrounded by nature yet only a few minutes walk from village life with bars and restaurants. Casa Andres is located on a lower terrace, originally the guest house of El Peñasco. Both houses offer plenty of privacy because of the gardens. El Peñasco and Casita Andres together can accommodate 8 people. You can park at El Peñasco or higher up in the village. The last 200 meters is a fairly steep and narrow road.
Surroundings El Peñasco
Gaucín, a typical Andalusian village, is a few minutes’ walk away and offers you pleasant Spanish village life. In Gaucín you will find all your shopping + bars, restaurants. Gaucín is located in the southern part of Serranía de Ronda and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the hills and mountains in the area. Ronda and the sea are only half an hour away by car. Gaucín itself has several smaller galleries and boutiques which are all worth your time.

First floor: living room with seating area by the fireplace, arch to large kitchen and dining area. Adjacent to the living room is a terrace with dining area for 6 people. Separate toilet in the hall. Bedroom with double bed and large bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and separate toilet.
Ground floor: laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Bedroom with 2 single beds and bathroom with shower and toilet, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with bath/shower and toilet. All bedrooms have large glass doors with access to a spacious veranda or French balcony. The ground floor is also accessible from the outside. The many sliding doors and skylights make this a very light house.
Tip from La Taha
During a stay in Gaucín, a visit to Ronda should not be skipped. The drive there is already worth it, you drive about 40 minutes inland through a beautiful nature reserve. In Ronda, the Puente Nuevo and its museum are more than worth a visit.

• Not suitable for people with walking difficulties due to the many steps and steepness of the outside space.
• Nearest airport is Malaga (AGP) about an hour and 20 minutes drive.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in El Peñasco en Casa Andres.
Met name El Peñasco beviel erg goed. Het was nog net zo mooi als in 2012 gelukkig. We hebben genoten van de goed uitgeruste keuken, het prachtige uitzicht en het zwembad. En van de geweldige ligging aan de rand van het dorp. Dat blijft een unieke combinatie. We hebben heerlijk gegeten in het dorp en zijn naar Málaga, Ronda en de Caminito del Rey geweest. Ook hebben we een mooie wandeling vanuit het huis gemaakt.
Het huis was boven verwachting
De ontvangst prima en de omgeving wonderschoon. Het huis is compleet ingericht en met name in de keuken is alles ruimschoots aanwezig; bestek, servies, pannen, etc. Heel fijn.
Je voelt je meteen thuis
Zeer compleet en smaakvol ingericht huis. Heerlijk zwembad en fantastische uitzichten.
Voelde heerlijk privé.
We vonden het huis echt geweldig! Heel mooi gelegen, in de natuur, maar toch dichtbij leuk dorp. Fijn zwembad, heerlijke terrassen en uitmuntend uitzicht! Ook super omgeving. Mooie wandelingen gemaakt, lekker gegeten, gezwommen in de rivier. Ontvangst was ook prima. Er lag een map met veel info en er waren veel reis- en wandelgidsen in huis aanwezig. De hele week verder niemand gezien.
Geweldige ligging aan rand van het dorp.
Wij zijn zeer enthousiast over dit huis! We hebben erg genoten, al kwamen we vooral om uit te rusten en hebben we dit keer niet veel in de omgeving gedaan. Des te fijner dat we zo’n lekker huis hadden. Graag wil ik het eens aan mijn vriend en kinderen laten zien, als het weer warmer is en we van het zwembad gebruik kunnen maken. Dank! Adembenemend uitzicht, geweldige ligging aan rand van het dorp. Zo is het dorp dichtbij, maar heb je geen lawaai van het straatleven. Het uitzicht verveelt nooit, zelfs met regen en storm prachtig. Snel bij de kust, snel in de natuur, leuke witte dorpen vlakbij. Relaxed is uiteindelijk toch ook een beetje struinen vanuit het huis door de straten en steegjes en tapasbarretjes van Gaucin. We voelden ons er zeer thuis.
Heerlijk veel ruimte.
Bijzonder mooi huis met lichte vertrekken. Geweldige keuken. Heerlijk veel ruimte. Nodigt uit om te koken. Huis en omgeving ‘live’ nog mooier en verrassender.
Zou er zo in kunnen leven!
Prachtig huis! Alles perfect. Schitterende terrassen en een uitzicht wat ik zou betitelen als een werelderfgoed-plek. Tuin navenant.
