Cortijo Jimenez is located in the middle of the beautiful terraced landscape of the Alpujarras, close to the village of Pitres. You are surrounded by nature but within walking distance of the village. In about fifteen minutes you can walk to shops and bar/restaurant. From the cortijo you have great views of the valley and the mountains.
Description of this holiday home in Andalusia
The detached house was recently built in the style of the Alpujarras with a flat roof, ceiling with old beams, beautiful tiled floors and rustic furniture. The house has a modern bathroom and kitchen. On chilly evenings, the fireplace and extra heating provide comfort. Around the cortijo is a spacious garden with the swimming pool on the lower terrace (can be used from 1 May to 1 November). You will always find a lovely spot in the sun or shade around the holiday home. At the entrance is a large covered terrace where you can eat outside. Cortijo Jimenez is the ideal holiday home for those seeking tranquility and for those who like to hike. Get to know the typical white mountain villages of the Alpujarras and the beautiful landscape. The last kilometer to Cortijo Jimenez is a well-maintained country road.

Pitres is only a few minutes drive away. Pitres has shops, bars and restaurants. Portugos is a 15 minute walk along a path, where there is also a shop and bar/restaurant, as in the surrounding villages. The coast is 1 hour away. You can reach Granada with the famous Alhambra in just over 1 hour.

All rooms are on one level. Spacious living room with seating area by the fireplace and dining table. Well equipped kitchen. Bedroom with double bed and two bedrooms with 2 single beds each. Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

• From this holiday home it is a 1 hour and 45 minutes drive to the airport of Almeria (LEI). • Granada (GRX) is 1.5 hours away and Malaga (AGP) is 2.5 hours away.

Fijn authentiek huis en compleet.
Wel donker binnen. Maar mooi uitzicht en heerlijk zwembad en terras om buiten te leven. Helaas sprak vriendelijke eigenaar geen engels maar kwamen we er wel uit.Omgeving is erg mooi en leuk om vanuit huis te wandelen of dingen in omgeving te bezoeken. Weggetje erheen is erg steil met scherpe bochten, en dan ook fijn om eerste keer achter eigenaar aan te rijden. Ontvangst ging niet helemaal goed in die zin, dat tijdens siesta de supermarkt dicht is en we tot 5 uur moesten wachten om eigenaar Rafa te contacten voor sleutel… Het was handig geweest als we dat vooraf hadden geweten 😉
De ontvangst, het huis en de omgeving zijn geweldig
Hiervoor zijn we ook teruggekomen, we hebben vorig jaar ook dit huis gehuurd. En zijn van plan om dit zeker nog een keer te doen, misschien deze zomer nog wel.
