Three holiday accommodations have been made from an old cortijo, Casita Galgo is the smallest of the 3, suitable for a wonderful holiday for two in Andalusia.
Layout of Casita Galgo
Through the original door you enter the private courtyard where you can eat and drink in the sun! On the ground floor is a large twin bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, walk in shower, toilet, sink. The bedroom has two large windows, one overlooking the valley and the other the courtyard, open the two windows together and a cooling breeze will blow.
There is an outside staircase that leads to the open living room, which has the best view through the three large windows. There is a comfortable sofa, satellite TV and a wood burner for cooler evenings.
The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven/hob plus a fridge with a small freezer compartment. The basics, such as salt, pepper, oil, washing-up liquid, etc. are provided for you. There is a kitchen table for two for dining.
Downstairs there is a private courtyard surrounded by traditional high white walls, you have complete privacy from the other casitas. There is a covered shaded area for really hot summer days, garden furniture and a barbecue in the fireplace of what was once the original outdoor kitchen: enjoy the outdoor life that sunny Andalucia is justifiably famous for!
Swimming pool
The communal pool is shared with a maximum of 10 guests. Of course you will find nice sun loungers and a number of seating areas by the pool. There is also an outdoor shower, toilet and sink. Also shared is the laundry room adjacent to the pool patio, here you will find a washing machine, sink, iron and ironing board.
