This holiday home for 6 people, with a private swimming pool, gets its name by the fact that it is located in the middle of the olive groves of Andalusia. The authentic cortijo is bursting with the characteristic aspects that you can expect from a house like this.
Layout of Cortijo Olivas
At the front of the holiday home is a patio which can be completely closed off. You can enjoy lunch or dinner under the vines on the pergola. From the patio you can reach the cozy living room with television and wood burner, the dining room with dining area for 6 people, and the very spacious kitchen.
There is also a bedroom with a double bed and a modern bathroom with a shower and toilet on the ground floor. In the heart of the house is the staircase to the top floor. On the left a bedroom with 2 single beds and on the right the spacious landing, with another bathroom with shower. At the end of the landing is the spacious master bedroom with double bed, spacious wardrobe and ceiling fan.
From the landing, a small stable door takes you to the terrace behind the house, with swimming pool of 9×4 meters (with slide) and sun loungers. The swimming pool can also be reached from the outside.
Surroundings of the holiday home
The beautiful surroundings invite you to take long walks or discover authentic white villages. Lake Iznajar is 5 minutes away by car. Here you can visit the beach, practice water sports and enjoy lunch at the chiringuito. Iznajar is very central for discovering the royal cities. Malaga (1 hour), Granada (1 hour) and Cordoba (1.5 hours) are ideal for a day trip. The provincial town of Antequera with its El Torcal (45 minutes) is also well worth a visit.
Remarks
- The access road to the holiday home is steep, but an experienced driver will have no problem with it.
- For stays longer than a week, the contact person on site will gladly change the bed linen for you, against payment of the dry cleaning costs.

Heerlijke huis met prachtig uitzicht
We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in de ‘boerderij’, die goed uitgerust, schoon, ruim en huiselijk was. Het terras had een fantastisch uitzicht over het meer en de kinderen hebben genoten van het zwembad. De landelijke ligging was rustig en de kust, en steden als Granada en Sevilla waren allemaal heel goed bereikbaar met de auto.
