Casita Secreta is named “secret” because the house is hidden in a beautiful garden among the trees. This holiday home is a gem and a little ‘secret’. Casita Secreta is located on the site of an old cortijo where a number of holiday homes have been realized, Casita Secreta is our favorite of the 3.

Description of Casita Secreta in Andalusia

Paradise; completely shielded from the outside world, there is a bungalow for 2 people, in a garden with mature trees, sun loungers, a hammock, a view of the beautiful mountain range and a private swimming pool made of rocks. You’ll walk on a dimly lit garden path under the overhanging branches, past the equestrian center to reach your “Secreta”. As soon as you close the gate behind you, you have entered another world; this is an ultimate dream spot.

Next to the cortijo is the equestrian center with ten horses, almost all of them rescued from an unpleasant situation. You are cordially invited to admire these beautiful animals, perhaps you would even like to take a trip with one of them? Looking out from the kitchen you see the outside enclosure of these beautiful animals, a sporadic whinny is the only sound you will hear during your stay at Casita Secreta.

Layout of Casita Secreta

The bungalow is small but excellently insulated, so cool. You will also like the modern interior. The well-equipped kitchen includes everything you need to prepare meals, and you also have your own gas barbecue in the garden. You reach the front door through your raised wooden terrace with dining area. From where you can enjoy the view of the beautiful mountain range behind the cottage. You enter into the kitchen annex living room. From the living room you have access to the bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. At the back of the house is a spacious bedroom with a double bed. A breakfast bar has been realized in the kitchen for lunch or dinner indoors. In addition to your own private plunge pool, you can also use the large, heated, shared pool of the cortijo.

Tip from La Taha

Take a day trip with one of the horses of the cortijo, the owners, who have rescued and/or adopted all the horses, are happy to go out with you in this beautiful area.

Remarks

• In addition to the private swimming pool, you can also use the large, shared swimming pool. The maximum number of guests for the entire cortijo is 8 adults + children.
• The shared pool is a heated swimming pool.
• The nearest airport is Malaga (AGP) at about 45 minutes drive.
• Except for horseback riding that can be booked separately, the rental price is an all-inclusive price.
• Owners do not ask for a deposit.
• No WiFi in and around the cottage.
