Finca los Chamizos is a great place to relax and enjoy the tranquility for a week or more with family or friends. It is a completely renovated finca, the house has been converted from a ruin into a very nice holiday home for 6 guests. You have complete privacy here.
Description of Los Chamizos in Andalusia
The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 spacious bathrooms, a cozy living room and a cozy, large kitchen. Around the house there are several terraces, there is a spacious roof terrace and there is also a lovely (heated) swimming pool of 7×4 meters. In the garden there are all kinds of fruit trees that you can of course use. The Finca has everything you might need. In the nearest village Comares there are some small shops, some bars and several restaurants. It is one of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia and from the village you have a beautiful view over the entire mountain range that makes Axarquia so beautiful.
Near surroundings of the holiday home
Los Chamizos is located in the valley below Comares, near the (dry) riverbed in the hamlet of Los Dioses. Picturesque Comares is the nearest village and is located on a hilltop. This typical Andalusian village has bars, restaurants and shops. Colmenar is also easily accessible for your daily shopping and the Thursday market. Velez Malaga (35 km), Malaga (50 km) and Antequera (60 km) are larger and attractive towns nearby.
Layout of Finca los Chamizos
All on one level (with steps due to small difference in height between different rooms) – Very spacious, well-equipped kitchen with dining area, small terrace with seating in front of the kitchen, on the side of the house. Living room with wood burner, 2-seater sofa and 4 armchairs. Bedroom with two single beds, and a door to the kitchen. Bedroom with a double bed with patio doors to the terrace. Spacious bathroom with washing machine, walk-in shower, double sinks and toilet. Very spacious bedroom with 2 box spring beds. Large bathroom with bath, shower, washbasins and toilet. At the pool, which is located on the side of the house, there are of course sun loungers, 2 thatched umbrellas and a covered terrace with seating area for 6 people. On the roof of the finca there is a roof terrace with seating area and sun loungers.
NB! Base price is for 2 people. For this price, the living room, kitchen and 1 bedroom + bathroom are at your disposal. When used by several people, the rest of the house can also be used, and the price per person increases.
Tip from La Taha
In the nearby village of Comares – about a 10-minute drive away – have lunch at restaurant El Molino. This restaurant is run by mother and son. We ate a salad with goat cheese with nuts, raisins and fresh fruit; one of the best salads we ever had the pleasure of eating. Address of El Molino is Barriada Los Ventorros number 9, terrace is on the main road.

Een fantastisch, mooi vakantiehuis.
Smaakvol en comfortabel ingericht en een heerlijke ruime plek verscholen in de prachtige heuvels achter Malaga. Op een half uurtje rijden van de Costa del Sol genieten in deze groene en rustige omgeving van Comares. We hebben genoten van de Nederlandse gastvrijheid en hun grenzeloze inzet voor hun “paradijsje” in de zon.
Heel charmant huis.
Mooi verzorgd met alle comfort! Prachtige omgeving! Warme ontvangst! Gastvrouw was vlot bereikbaar (per WhatsApp). Over la Taha: Mooi aanbod! Service tip-top!
Huis had alles wat nodig was.
De ontvangst door de eigenaresse was prima. Ze was daar op de afgesproken tijd. Het bed was erg lekker. Wel viel me op dat de eigenaresse 1 van de slaapkamers en 1 van de badkamers had afgesloten. Op zich begrijp ik dat wel aangezien we maar met z’n tweeën waren. De directe omgeving van het huis was drukker dan ik had verwacht/gehoopt. Kan ook komen doordat het het weekend van een Spaanse feestdag was. Ik heb verder geen voorzieningen gemist, zelfs zaken als olie, koffie etc. Dat was zeer positief.
