Located on top of a mountainside, with breathtaking views of the valley, Casa Encina is a perfect location for a wonderful holiday. Encina means ‘holm oak’, and this holiday home is so named because there were 2 holm oaks on top of the mountain where this house was built.

Everything in the house is on the ground floor. Sufficient parking space in front of the house. The front door leads you to the bright living room with open kitchen and bar. There is a fan in the living room for the warm summer months. The TV has Dutch channels. The very complete kitchen has all the basic necessities such as oil, salt, pepper, etc. The washing machine is also in this kitchen. The house also has 3 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms have 2 single beds with an installed mosquito net. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed. All bedrooms are equipped with large wardrobes. The bathroom is shared with all bedrooms and has a shower and double sink. The toilet is in a separate room. Outside is a covered terrace with table and chairs for balmy summer evenings. There are 2 sunny terraces next to the house. The views from all terraces are truly breathtaking. The private swimming pool (8 x 5 meters) can be reached by a staircase going down. The sun loungers are already waiting for you!
Surroundings of Casa Encina
Axarquia is known for its rich Moorish history and charming whitewashed villages (pueblos blancos). In the pleasant climate of the AxarquÃa region, for which the region has even won an award, you can spend days enjoying the beaches, cliffs, valleys and mountains that the region has to offer. Casa Encina is located between the two whitewashed villages of Torrox and Frigiliana, about 70 kilometers from the coastal city of Malaga. Nerja, the so-called ‘Balcón de Europa’, is twenty minutes away by car. The house is located near the nature reserve ‘Acebuchal’, which is definitely worth a visit. Or visit Lake Viñuelas, a very photogenic spot 40 minutes away. The area is ideal for cycling trips and hikes.
Remarks
– Nearest airport is Malaga (AGP) at 1 hour drive.
– The last 2 kilometers to the holiday home require an experienced driver.
– The owner asks for a security deposit of € 300,- which will be added to the invoice after confirmation of the booking.
