Beautifully renovated village house with roof terrace in lively and beautiful Nijar near the natural park and the beautiful bays and beaches of Cabo de Gata. La Casa del Alfarero is located in the old pottery quarter of the village.
Description of your holiday home in Andalusia
During the restoration, the original character has been preserved without compromising the modern comfort that the house now offers. Skylights and a partial glass ceiling above the kitchen have made it a wonderfully light house. The “best part of the house” is of course the roof terrace to enjoy the view of the village and in the distance the sea, the sun and a meal under the starry sky. It goes without saying WiFi is available free of charge.
Surroundings holiday home La Casa del Alfarero
From Nijar a mule track leads through a beautiful valley to Huebro, a small hamlet above Nijar. The path leads past several old water mills from Moorish times. The lively village is known for its ceramics and rugs, which are sold in various shops. There are also a few supermarkets, bars and restaurants. From Nijar it is half an hour by car to the beaches of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park and the city of Almeria.

Ground floor: living/dining room with open kitchen, bedroom with two single beds, bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin.
1st floor: landing, bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and sink and of course the lovely roof terrace.
Remarks
• The street in front of the house is a pedestrian area. You can unload your luggage at the corner of the street and park your car for free in the street about 50 meters from the house.
• Nearest airport is Almeria (LEI), this is a fairly small airport. Alicante airport (ALC) is 3 hours away, this also applies to Malaga (AGP).

Het huis was prima, mooi ingericht.
In het dorp tussen de lokale bevolking. Nijar is een leuk dorp, niet toeristisch. De omgeving is mooi, deels een landbouwgebied met plastic kassen en deels woestijnachtig natuurgebied. Het landschap doet soms Marokkaans aan. Woestijn, mooie aardekleuren, cactussen, agaves, witte dorpjes. Ontvangst was prima, goede communicatie vooraf.
